About this wine
Georgian indigenous grape variety Rkatsiteli wine is from the East Part of Georgia. Grapes are grown in the vineyards, near the Alaverdi Monastery in the valley of the Alazani River.
Using Georgian ancient traditional technology – buried clay vessel in ground called “Qvevri”.
Fermentation process of 10 days, grape remains after the fermentation is finished to the wine for 6 more months. The qvevri enriches the wine with varied, vivid aromas and flavors.

Glekhuri is a small qvevri only project from the head winemaker. All wines are harvested from select vineyards, fermented and aged in qvevri with extended contact. Each release is 10,000 bottles or less.
