About this spirit
Chacha is Georgia's traditional grape spirit, distilled from the pomace left after winemaking. Baia's Wine distills theirs in the village of Obcha from the skins and pulp of Tsolikouri, Tsitska and Krakhuna after the juice has gone to their wines, with no added flavors or aromas.
About Baia's Wine
Baia Abuladze is a young woman, who together with her sister, Gvantsa Abuladze, and their family in Obcha, Imereti in the west of Georgia, are bringing new life and energy to a region with a storied history but whose winemaking traditions had suffered greatly, under communism. Lighter, vibrant and acid driven and purposeful wines.
